The Grand Caravan

When Mike and Adam were playing in a garage, they were confronted by a long haired kid with large round pink sunglasses offering to jam in the basement of his parent's bakery across the street. Eric turned out to shred like Hendrix, so the three decided to form a band. Eric was driving a Grand Caravan at the time, and mentioned that he always thought it would be a good name for a band. Out of a vagabond spirit and love for road trips, it was agreed upon to name the band 'The Grand Caravan'. Rehearsing in the basement of Detour Bakery in Denver, Colorado. At their first show they met Ben, who mentioned to mutual friends that he happened to play the piano. They invited him to the Bakery and the rest was history. They ended up recording an album in that basement. Playing shows around Denver with wild outfits, bringing loud sounds and high energy to the stage. They are proud to be releasing their first album, 'Detour' in honor of the bakery from which it was created.
